Turn customer POs into QuickBooks Online Estimates.
Poppelo connects to QuickBooks Online through OAuth and prepares approved customer orders for delivery as Estimates. QuickBooks Online has no sales-order API object.
Connect the intended QuickBooks company
An administrator authorizes the connection through Intuit OAuth and confirms the company used for delivery. The connector includes customer and item reference-data synchronization to support matching. Before a live rollout, confirm the connection environment and Intuit credentials: the capability ledger records a sandbox configuration and no reference-data pull against a real QuickBooks company.
Review the order before Estimate delivery
Customer PO fields and line items pass through extraction, catalogue matching, and review. The approved order is sent as an Estimate because there is no QuickBooks Online sales-order API object. Treat that Estimate as the destination record in your accounting workflow; it is not a native sales order or a payment capture.
QuickBooks boundaries to plan around
Poppelo does not support QuickBooks Desktop. Unsupported financial mappings and revisions require manual handling, and actual provider acceptance remains unverified in the capability ledger. A second QuickBooks company under one account can degrade customer and SKU matching because resolution reads across the account. Review that setup before enabling automatic approval.
