Bring supplier invoices into a review workflow before AP entry.

Poppelo reads emailed or uploaded supplier invoices, extracts vendor and line-item data, and prepares an approved record for your accounts-payable system after review. These are workflow examples, not claims of customer deployments or measured outcomes.

Capture supplier invoices before manual entry

A vendor may email a PDF invoice or an AP inbox may collect uploaded scans and files. Extraction reads the vendor, invoice number, dates, PO reference, and line items into a review queue. A reviewer can correct header and line fields, such as a misread total or unit price, before approval; the corrected values are re-checked against the invoice arithmetic before anything is written.

A person reviews every invoice before the Bill or vendor bill is written

Supplier invoices are always reviewed by a person; there is no automatic approval for money leaving the business. An approved invoice is delivered as a QuickBooks Online Bill, a NetSuite vendor bill, or a CSV export where neither connector is configured. Writing a Bill or vendor bill requires a default expense account configured on that connector; supplier invoices without one are held rather than posted against an unconfigured account. This review step checks the extracted invoice against its source document; it is not a three-way match against a purchase order and goods-receipt record.

Payment stays with your AP system

Poppelo prepares the destination record and stops there. It does not execute payment, schedule a payment run, or route the invoice through an approval workflow across departments. Use your accounting or AP system for those decisions once the Bill or vendor bill exists.

Questions about this workflow

Does this replace a three-way match against receipts?

No. Review here checks an extracted invoice against its source document. Matching against a purchase order and goods-receipt record remains a separate AP control.
